“My work is designed to be used, to be a part of the everyday rituals of our lives - especially around eating, This series are glazed using the ash from nettle plants collected in Stoke on Trent in the United Kingdom. Collecting local materials gives me a sense of place and meals shared together are unique moments in time to be treasured. These small intentional acts of gathering, socialising, are what make us human.”
